Not only am I new to the forum, but I am a new pet owner. I have had dogs growing up, but after being out on my own for 6 years without a dog I decided to get one. I forgot how much fun they are to have around.
His name is Indiana Jones, and goes by Indy. I wanted a dog for obvious companionship reasons, but also for a hiking and camping buddy. What better name for my adventurous companion than Indiana Jones right? I have never had a Lab, but for some reason that was the breed I felt was best to get. I have had him since he was 3 months old, and since then he has been hiking, camping, and even canoeing, and has loved every bit of it. I am hoping sometime next year to take him on a multiday backpacking trip. Since I can't seem to figure out the custom avatar thing (I am assuming it is a post count privilege) here is a pic of Indy back in July.
