Hello ya'll,
I am new to the forum. I joined today but have been checking it out for the last few days. I am really learning a lot from reading the posts. My question at this point is what everyone's opinion is on using treats to train basic OB, that will be used for primarily for waterfowl hunting? I have not yet started using them and Saydee, 5 months old, is taking rather slowly to sit, stay and here. I work with her 1-2 times daily for 15-30 minutes at a time, as well as at every meal and on her walks. So far I have only been using praise as her positive reinforcement. She is not e-collar trained either.
