and ticked me off. I know DH's brother isn't a big dog fan but when he stopped over, I put Shelby in the bedroom for 5 minutes, since she gets so excited, then I bring her out.
Cody I left out, he's so calm, loves everyone, got petted for a brief second and moved on. Then I released Shelby. DH's brother is already setting down and Shelby had stepped up with her paws in his lap, I was just getting ready to tell him to get her paws , (part of some training I've been working on) dogs don't like there paws touched and Shelby would pull back.
Of no, DH's brother taps her nose, not exactly hard, but firm. Then tells me dogs don't like that if you hit there nose. I didn't know what to say it happened so quick. Shelby stayed away from him the whole time.
DH and I was talking about it later today, and he agreed he didn't like it either. We do see DH's brother quite a bit at the campground, but it was the first time he did this. The nerve of some people, I don't care if it is relative. Am I over reacting?
