It was downright chilly trying to get up this morning. -9 Are you kidding already!! Dave had to start the TG Bus early to thaw out the windows for crying out loud. Where did Fall go? Enough whining - coffee revived my humour somewhat. I rounded up Panda and Shammy and way they all went - no escaping this morning!!

The afternoon saw the two pups go in for their check ups and vaccinations. The little pom/chi with the injured leg has broken toes so not much we can do about those. Dr Lois thought he was darn cute though! He was friendly, good natured and so very brave when he got his vaccinations. He never made a sound. He is still my little vest warmer - he really likes to ride around. He needs a name thta reflects his tough but handsome persona.

The other pup was the hound/sharpei mix female. She was a very good girl too. Now she would eb ideal for a family with children - she is sturdy and gentle. And very good natured. She needs a name too. Here she is with Bobby.

Panda and Shammy were quite groggy when they came back home. Panda weighs 12.8 pounds and appears to be what they said she was - 4 years old. Shammy on the other hand is much older; closer to 8 years at least. Why lie about her age? I would take her anyways - she was very close to a bullet. She will need a full dental - another expense we can ill afford but so very necessary for her health. She was pregnant again too - but no more for this little puppy mill survivor!
